This carved stone Maori fish hook is made from a 50 lb piece of Alabaster quarried from southern Utah, the symbol itself comes from the Maori tribe in New Zealand. It’s their symbol of fishing prosperity. There are many variations of this symbol by various artists, Jeff did a great job on this one, it has some incredibly beautiful variations in color and is mounted on a stainless steel base.
