Carved Salmon Jumping

This is one of the first Salmon Jeff carved way back in 2003. This wood sculpture of a Chinook Salmon was inspired by some of my time fishing in Alaska, salmon represent a significantly valuable resource to both the food chain, and for human consumption. A similar piece commissioned by the city of Coeur d’ Alene is located in the Coeur d’ Alene City park (Northern Idaho).
